Michael D. Klein, PE

A developer who builds organizations and pipelines from the ground up.

I lead utility-scale renewable energy development across ERCOT, SPP, and WECC — originating projects, structuring them, and moving solar, wind, and storage from greenfield toward construction and the grid.

A licensed Professional Engineer by training, I've spent a decade across development and construction in the U.S. power markets. My work centers on disciplined origination, capital efficiency, and getting difficult projects done in difficult places — from interconnection and procurement through the economics that decide whether a project lives.

I came up through engineering and construction before moving into development leadership, which means I think about projects the way they actually get built: land, megawatts, schedules, and the people in the room.
